Sal Gabrini: Love And War Page 6
Here we go again, she wanted to say when it became clear that he was in it to cum. But she didn’t say a word. Because she was feeling it too. She leaned on her elbows and leaned her head all the way back, as Sal stood up, entered her, and took them there once again.
CHAPTER SEVEN
Less than thirty minutes later, Gemma walked down the stairs and opened her front door. Reno and Trina Gabrini were making their way up the steps. Reno was lagging slightly behind, checking out the level of security across the estate, with his hand on the small of his wife’s back, as they walked up.
“Hello you two!” Gemma said with a bright white smile. She could still feel the effects after two helpings of Sal’s big dick. She could barely walk, but she was determined to keep it together. “Come on in,” she said.
Trina smiled. “Acting like you’re all thrilled to see us. You sound like you’ve been suffering from cabin fever.”
“I have,” Gemma said with a laugh. “And it’s only been a day. But thank God it’ll be over soon.” She and Trina hugged at the door.
“So, Sal neutralized the threat?” Reno asked.
“He doesn’t discuss that with me, you know,” Gemma admitted. “But I think he took care of it, yes.”
“Good,” Reno said as he leaned in, kissed Gemma on the lips, and then gave her a big bear hug. “Those assholes put you and Lucky in danger. I would have tracked them down myself.” When they stopped embracing, he held her hand and looked down the length of her. With her dark skin against her bright white smile, she was stunning. “You look beautiful,” he said. Although Trina was his girl, and nobody would supplant her, Gemma held a special place in his heart, too. “You can almost give Trina a run for her money. Almost,” Reno added, as he rubbed Trina’s stomach.
“And look at you,” Gemma said to Trina. “All glowing! I see that little baby bump.”
Trina smiled that smile that lit up her face. The smile Reno adored. “I’m happy, thanks. But Reno? Oh, my gosh! He will not let me do anything without answering to him first. It’s ridiculous. But he’s right about one thing: you do look splendid tonight, Gem.”
Gemma smiled and looked down at the flare pants and cropped jacket she wore. It took an effort, but she managed to stay away from Sal long enough to finally put on some clothes. “Why thank you, Mrs. Gabrini,” she responded.
“Mrs. Gabrini?” Reno frowned. “I’m the one who complimented you first, and you thank her?”
Trina laughed.
“And thank you, too, Mister Gabrini,” Gemma said with a smile of her own. “You don’t look so bad yourself.”
“Yes, he does,” Trina said. “Don’t lie. Reno is the only man on this planet who can put on a spanking brand-new Armani suit in the morning, and have it looking like something he picked up from the Goodwill by the afternoon. A spanking brand-new suit! Swear to God!”
Gemma laughed.
“Yeah, keep talking Tree,” Reno said in his usual bravado. “Keep telling your tall tales and spanking will be the word alright, but not in relation to any menswear. But that’s what I’m going to be doing to your real tail, to your ass, if you keep on talking.”
“Boy bye,” Gemma said with a grin. “You spank Trina? And Trina let you? I know you’re playing!”
But Reno and Trina exchanged a knowing glance. He’d done her many times in the past when he felt it was warranted. But that was their business.
“Where’s the chief?” Reno asked. “As in Chief Fuck Up?”
“Don’t start, Reno,” Gemma said as she closed the door and they walked further into her home. “Sal’s been through a rough patch. He needs your understanding right now. Not your criticism.”
“You’re right,” Reno said. “I’ll shower him with rainbows and bunnies.” Gemma and Trina looked at each other with that you know he’s lying look on their faces. “Where is he?” Reno asked.
“He’s still getting dressed upstairs,” Gemma said, and Reno headed in that direction.
“Rainbows and bunnies,” Gemma said to Trina. “Your husband is so full of it.”
“Don’t you know I know it?” Trina asked. “And he loves Sal. He truly does. But he just can’t help himself.”
“Sal’s the same way with Reno,” Gemma agreed. “But I gave up trying to understand their relationship years ago.”
“That’s why I stay out of it,” Trina said with a smile. “But forget them. What about you? Are you okay for real?”
“I’m good,” Gemma said. “But I can’t lie. It was scary, Tree. Especially when it went down. But Sal handled his business.”
Trina nodded. “I heard he did. Thank God. And what about that bad ride he was supposed to be purchasing for you? That Maybach Exelero, hello? Do you realize how much that car costs?”
“I know,” Gemma said, shaking her head. “Sal insists I have to drive a better car than his. Either I take over his Bugatti, or he gets me another car. Thus, the Maybach.”
“So, where is it?” Trina asked.
“This is the real fucked up part, excuse my French,” Gemma said. “Sal decided, given what went down at the dealership, that the car was now tainted goods.”
Trina couldn’t believe it. “What?”
“And get this, Tree. He sent it back,” Gemma said.
Trina laughed. “I love me some Sal,” she said. “I love him to death. But he’s always been so damn odd!”
“I know. But what man isn’t? Especially Italian men.”
Trina laughed again. “You’re right about that. You’re sure right about that! But where’s Lucky? That’s the man I wanna see!”
“Right this way,” Gemma said happily, and escorted Trina to the Nursery.
Upstairs, Reno didn’t bother knocking on the master bedroom door. He barged on in. “Where are you?” he yelled.
“Where do you think?” Sal replied with a yell of his own. He was in the en-suite bathroom. “And where do you get off barging in like that? I could have been doing my thing.”
“What thing?” Reno asked as he laid down on the bed.
“My thing,” Sal responded.
“What thing is your thing?”
“My thing,” Sal said, coming out of the bathroom naked.
When Reno saw him, with Sal’s huge dick dangling so wildly, he quickly looked away. “Oh, geez!”
Sal laughed. “You’re just mad that I’ve got me a Mandingo motherfucker.”
“Get the fuck out of here!” Reno responded. “My motherfucker will rope yours like it was cattle! Dommi’s shit is bigger than yours.”
Sal laughed. “In his dreams! And get off of my bed.”
“Make me,” Reno responded.
Sal began to come toward Reno.
Reno could just imagine him and naked Sal tussling on the bed. “Never mind,” he said, and sat up on the bed’s edge.
Sal smiled, imagining the same scenario, as he walked over to his underwear drawer. “How is the little gangster anyway?”
“He’s good. He’s Dommi,” Reno said. “He’s babysitting tonight.”
Sal pulled out a pair of briefs as he looked at Reno. “You think that’s wise?”
“The nannies are there,” Reno said. “Jimmy had a date.”
“Dom’s babysitting little Maddie?”
Reno nodded. “And his baby sister Sophie. But don’t worry. I made it clear that the nannies were in charge. Unless shit went down. If shit goes down, then I made it clear to the nannies that Dommi was in charge. He’s a fucking kid, but he has the instincts of a seasoned pro.”
“I’ll second that,” Sal agreed. “I’ve never seen anything like it. But be careful with that too.”
“What do you mean?”
“You know Dommi,” Sal said as he put on his briefs. “He’ll make shit go down just to be in charge of somebody.”
“And he knows I’ll beat his ass if he tries.”
Sal chucked. Reno watched as Sal grabbed a t-shirt and put it on. He could see that something was bothering
him. “What’s up?” he asked him. “Still worried about that hit?”
“The Bonaduce hit?” Sal asked. “Shit no! We took care of those punks.”
“But?” Reno asked.
Sal paused and then grabbed the pants, flapped over the chair, that Gemma had laid out for him. “I’ve got problems on my hands.”
Reno’s heart squeezed. If Sal ached, he ached. Although he’d never ever tell Sal. “What problems?”
“Problems. Situations.”
“At GCI? Or at that other thing?”
They never ever discussed in any detail Sal’s mob ties. For years he declared he was not even a mob boss. Reno and Tommy knew better, but Sal still refused to admit it. But it was getting critical now. “That other thing,” Sal said.
“Can you talk about it?” Reno asked.
“I need to talk to Tommy first, and Gemma. Then I’ll talk.”
That was more than Sal had ever agreed to do before. Reno nodded, rose to his feet. “That’ll work,” he said. “Now get your ass dressed so we can go get some chow.” He began heading toward the door. “I’m starved. So hurry up.”
“Oh,” Sal said. “Am I supposed to jump just because you said frog?” he asked.
Reno smiled. “Hell yeah! They voted me the most powerful man in Vegas again this year. You’d better jump.”
But suddenly Sal’s eyes filled with fright. “Watch out!” he yelled to Reno as he pointed hysterically toward the floor. Reno, by reflex, jumped out of the way of whatever Sal was pointing at, with an awkward jerk that was almost feminine.
Then Sal looked at his cousin, and smiled. “Who’s jumping now, motherfucker?” he asked.
Reno couldn’t believe Sal had so easily pulled a gotcha on him, as embarrassment and surprise filled his big eyes. “Fuck you, Sal Luca!” And he angrily left the room, slamming the door behind him.
But Sal, feeling as if he was on top of the world whenever he bested Reno, let out a big, booming laugh.
CHAPTER EIGHT
Sal and Gemma, followed by Reno and Trina, entered Berman’s, an upscale restaurant, and followed the waitress to their table. Once they were seated, with Sal and Gemma on one side of the table, and Reno and Trina on the other, Reno leaned forward. “So, what’s the big reveal?” he asked.
Sal looked at his first cousin. “What big reveal? What are you talking?”
“What’s with the dinner invite? I know it wasn’t just because you were dying to have dinner with me.”
“I was dying to have dinner with Trina,” Sal said. “How about that? Does she count? Or is it all about you the way it usually is?”
The two ladies looked at each other from across the table. “Here we go,” Trina said.
“No, we don’t,” Gemma said, and then looked at their men. “Not tonight, guys,” she said. “This dinner with our two best friends is supposed to be a stress reliever, not a pissing contest.”
Reno smiled. “There’s a way to relieve stress, sweetie,” he said, “and dinner ain’t it.”
Sal looked at Reno. He knew he used to have a thing for Gemma, and still might. He also knew Reno was the kind of honorable man who loved his wife and wouldn’t act on his attraction, not in a zillion years. But needling Reno was what Sal did. He called it his life’s work. “Don’t you worry about that, old man,” he said to his cousin. “I’ve got that particular kind of stress relief covered.” He placed his arm around Gemma’s shoulder. “Me and me alone.”
Trina laughed at that one. Reno, however, frowned. “Fuck you!” he said to Sal.
“But now, Trina,” Sal continued, “if you care to join us when I’m in the throes of relieving my wife, arrangements can be made.”
Trina and Gemma both laughed at that one. Reno looked at Sal as if he’d lost his mind. “Arrangements to rearrange your face can be made, too,” he said.
Sal smiled. “Just fucking with you, Ree, come on. You know I wouldn’t even dream of that.”
Reno smiled. “That’s more like it.”
Then Sal looked pensive. “Or would I?” he asked.
The ladies laughed again. But just as Reno was about to ding Sal back, which was what Reno always felt a need to do when he was bested, Sal looked beyond their table and saw something so disturbing that he had to do a double take. When he realized it was no mirage, and she was actually standing in that restaurant, near the entrance, staring at him as if she was staring at a piece of trash, his heart slammed against his chest.
He looked Reno dead in the eye. Reno knew that look was no joke. Something was going down. Sal rose to his feet. “Watch the women,” he said to his cousin and hurried toward the exit. As soon as the woman saw him rise to his feet, she was heading out of the restaurant’s door.
Both women wanted to ask why in the world did Sal suddenly jump up like that, but they didn’t say a word. They watched Sal, and then they looked at Reno.
Reno was still watching Sal. “Get your things, ladies,” he said as he rose to his feet. “We’re going to call it an early night and have dinner at home.”
Gemma and Trina didn’t argue with him. They didn’t even ask why. They just got their things and rose too. Gemma knew Sal wouldn’t leave like that, without saying a word to her, unless it was vital. He left her in Reno’s hands and, until Sal returned, that was exactly where she intended to stay.
As soon as Sal hurried out of the restaurant, he saw the woman get into a BMW parked at the curb beyond the portico. One of Sal’s men, who was on outside guard duty, sped up in his SUV as soon as he saw the boss hurry out.
Sal jumped onto the passenger seat of the SUV. “Follow that Beamer!” he ordered.
His man sped from under the portico and did as he was ordered. He followed that BMW.
Sal’s heart was racing as they stayed close behind the car as it raced along the Vegas streets. The windows in the BMW were too tinted for him to see her again, but he knew what he saw. It was her. God help him, it was her!
And he knew that she knew she was being followed. The first sign came when she did a maneuver that had her suddenly crossing a lane without warning, and then turning onto a side street. Sal’s man completed the same maneuver, although causing the car in the other lane to hit brakes and blow its horn. But the SUV was able to make the sudden lane change and turned onto the same side street.
But the BMW was further ahead now, and the woman driver was no longer pretending. She knew she was being followed and her speed increased substantially. The SUV sped up too, even recklessly so, but Sal’s man knew he was good as dead if he lost this one. He didn’t know who he was following, but he knew the boss didn’t follow just anybody. This had to be big.
The BMW turned down yet another side street, and then made another quick left turn, as the SUV now struggled to keep up. But just as it made the quick left also, and was on yet another side street, a big Chevy Silverado pickup truck appeared behind them and rammed them from the back. Sal’s body slammed against the dashboard, and would have sailed out of the windshield if he hadn’t been buckled in, as he looked in his rearview mirror to see who in the world had blindsided them.
But when the men in the oversized pickup opened fire, shattering the back glass of the SUV, Sal’s instincts kicked in. He fell to the floor, pulled out the Glock he kept on his person, and turned around.
“Floor this motherfucker!” he yelled, as he lifted up and began firing back. His man sped away.
Sal knew he needed a rifle to match their firepower, but he had what he had. And he used it strategically, firing only after a volley had ended, and even then firing, not to hit the gunmen, but to hit the driver. His own driver was doing all he could to stay as far away from the Silverado as he could manage.
But although his driver was flooring it, and was doing everything he could to not only get away from the Silverado, but to keep up with the BMW, he failed on both counts. The hit the SUV suffered at the hands of the Silverado slowed them up just enough for the BMW to speed away even faster, tur
n another corner, and disappear from sight.
Sal’s driver turned the same corner, but didn’t see her. He saw what looked like a ravine-styled canyon at the end of the road, but he didn’t see that BMW. But it was about to not matter to him at all as soon as he turned the corner. The men in the Silverado, taking a page out of Sal’s playbook, turned their rapid fire onto Sal’s driver, too. It took a lot of attempts, but the driver eventually took a bullet to the back of the head.
When his head lobbed forward and he fell, face first, against the steering wheel, Sal realized he had an additional problem. He jumped up, as his driverless SUV began careening wildly toward the ravine ahead of them, and attempted to remove his driver from behind the wheel.
But first he had to get control of the SUV. Bullets were still flying, and when he looked up again, dodging those bullets, he saw that the SUV was fast approaching the end of the road where, just across a small blade of dirt, ended with what would be a crash landing down that steep incline. He grabbed the steering wheel, as he attempted to do all he could to control the out-of-control SUV, and then he attempted to move his leg over his driver’s leg and slam on the brakes.
But the bullets kept coming, the Silverado kept charging, and the SUV, Sal realized when he looked up again, had reached the end of the road and was just about to cross over the small blade of dirt.
“Fuck!” Sal yelled with great distress as he saw what was coming. Even the Silverado slammed on brakes and the gunmen jumped out of the truck as the SUV sped across the blade of dirt with little loss of momentum, lost traction, and then went airborne as it flew over the cliff of the ravine like a bird made of steel, but tanking fast.
CHAPTER NINE
Robby Yale needed a workout and was getting one. He pounded that ass like he was pounding a nail, as the sweat glistened on his muscular chest and dropped off in beads onto the brown back of Curtis Kane. Curtis was on his knees, doggy style, and was jerking hard on his dick as Robby did him. And when Robby came, and poured into him, Curtis came too and poured onto his hand and arm and the towel beneath him. Robby’s cum was so excruciating that he slammed against Curtis’s ass and remained there, until the cum had ceased.
